Anna Johnson

Anna Johnson is an artist working mainly in ceramics, fired, glazed and mounted on canvas to commission. Her work uses traditional techniques together with modern design to create unique contemporary pieces. Born in Gateshead, Anna now lives and works from her home in Whickham where she produces unique handmade ceramic forms and mounts them on canvas. She works part time producing pieces for domestic and commercial clients in the uk and world wide. ‘My work consists of many visual forms with references from landscape, geometry and colour. The majority of designs involve bright, vivid, bold colour and texture to make my pieces stand out against the minimalist colour palette of today’. All ceramic is individually hand cut making the finished product a totally authentic piece of art, which is signed T&C's of Commissions Commissions are considered by our artists but are not guaranteed to be accepted by them. In the instance of an artist turning down a commission we will suggest alternative artists for your consideration. All Commissions must have a 50% non refundable deposit paid up-front. Once the commission is produced you are not obliged to purchase the artwork but you will not be entitled to a refund of your deposit. The Copy right to all commissioned artwork continues to belong to the artist after purchase.
