Jo Elizabeth

Jo Elizabeth is Painter, Photographer and Graphic Artist; living on the North East Coast of England. Jo has only recently returned to painting seriously as she now has the time to dedicate life to her passions of Painting and Walking. Jo studied Fine Art, Photography and Graphics at Newcastle Upon Tyne. Jo is fortunate in that she can walk to her local beach of Marsden Bay in ten minutes by foot. Much of Jo’s work is inspired by this beach and other local landmarks. Jo is enthused by the beauty of the natural environment and wildlife that surrounds her town; and this can be seen in her latest collection of work. It is only because of her visits to Marsden to make sketches to paint, that she has seen the visiting dolphins! In regards to her style; Jo has a love of vivid colour, pattern and juxtaposing realism with more graphic elements.
