Eric’s recent body of work has stepped away from the realness in typical painting styles and has ventured into abstract landscapes, loosely studied from his local coastal photography, after walks with his dog, Toots. Eric tries to interact with colour relationships and swiftness of palette knife strokes to capture an intimate snapshot of the dramatic and sometimes peaceful, Northumbrian land.
This abstract shows the Spring clouds floating by the Northumberland fields.
