The South Bank of the river Tyne is home the industrial landmark now known as the Baltic.
The building was originally the City Flour Mill, when the construction development began in 1998 only the North and South Facades were retained from the original building.
The Landmark shares its Quayside home with the Millennium bridge.
Construction on the Bridge Started at the same time as the baltic in 1998, and the Bridge opened in 2001 creating a pedestrian route across the river.
